a couple of new things & another little giveaway.

as mentioned the other day... this year is flying by!  totally forgot to post my april scrap again projects! the theme this month was "buttons."  not hard for me!  i almost always use buttons!  they are one of my favorite embellishments.  how about you?  what's your favorite?  tell me & you'll be entered to win a sweetly smitten collection pack & banner stickers from sassafras lass (see pic at bottom.)  they sent me a lovely box when i was a guest on their blog   being the sass hoarder i am, i already had all of the pattern paper x3 plus the banner stickers!  so, rather than hoarde, i decided to share!  :)  the giveaway will close on monday, may 2.  open to international, if you don't mind paying shipping!  :)
have a lovely monday!

and a sneak of  one of my may projects:
(i know what you are thinking - "i can't believe she used black cardstock!" hahahahaha!  i did actually use a little kraft this month too!)

this is the bit i'll be giving away....

  1. Buttons are high on my list of fun things to use but I find that I embellish a lot just using pp. I don't have any of this Sass yet, so thanks for the chance! Love the design of your double. Doubles stump me!

  2. My favorite form of embellishments is really a cheat.... lol I love using tags off the girls' clothes in place of expensive embellishments at the store! lol We don't have a scrapbook store nearby so I've had to get creative!! That and we just had a Tangled theme party but can't find the scrapbooking supplies to scrap with!! I love buttons too of course and have a nice collection hidden in my stash! :)

  10. I thought I was a terrible Sass hoarder, but 3 x each paper! tut tut. heeeeee!

You have such a knack for double pages Mandie, they are my downfall.

Buttons are a fav of mine too, but I am also very obsessed with twine at the moment. Sass banners often make it on to my pages too, cause you know I love my borders!

Have you seen the new woodgrain alphas yet? They are soooo yummy!
